Joining FAS today is ro-ro cargo vessel AKRANES, ex Bore Bank. Faroese Company, Smyril Line Cargo has bought the vessel from its Finnish owners to carry cargo between Iceland, the Faroe Islands and Denmark. The vessel is 10.585 GT and was built in Norway in 1998.

VERMLAND was registered into the Faroe Islands International Ship Register today. The vessel is a general cargo vessel of 2.199 GT.
