New vessel in FAS: Hav Alda
The vessel HAV ALDA is now registered in FAS. The general cargo vessel was built in the Netherlands in 2000 and is 2301 GT. Hav Alda is owned by Faroese Navigare Shipping and will transport fish feed beetween the Faroe Islands and Scotland. We welcome Hav Alda into the FAS fleet.

Today, ex Viking Athene was registered in FAS as BAKKANES. The owner, Bakkafrost Farming, has purchased the vessel to serve as a salmon farming vessel alongside sister vessel MARTIN in its operations in Scotland. Bakkanes is 241 feet long, 54 feet wide and 2466 GT.
