Even though the Faroe Islands got a better score on this years Paris MoU flag state performance list, we drop from 28th to 30th place on the list. The reason is partly due to the vessel/inspection ratio and partly due to other flag states doing better this last periode.
FAS is however pleased with the results and continue our work to encourage Faroese flagged vessels to do well in Port State Controls, for instance in our yearly campaign “Ship of the Year”.
