TIDAN is a brand-new cargo ship owned by the Swedish shipping company Erik Thun. The vessel was built in 2025 at the Ferus Smit shipyard in the Netherlands. Tidan runs on a hybrid propulsion system, using both battery power and traditional fuel.
THOR MODI is an offshore supply vessel owned by Faroese shipping company Thor, built in 2015. The ship was previously registered under the Bahamian flag but is now registered in the Faroese International Ship Register (FAS).
We welcome both vessels to the Faroese International Ship Register.
