In the latest Flag State Performance List of The International Chamber of Shipping, The Faroe Islands International Ship Register receives top ratings.
"We are very happy that our flag gets this approval and is seen as a quality register. It is of great importance that our flag is associated with quality and safety at sea", sais Jens Meinhard Rasmussen, chairman of the Faroese Shipowner Association.
The Faroese Maritime Authority is equally pleased to see the flag continue to perform well. This is a sign of quality management, both for the ship owners and for the administration.
