Today, ex Viking Athene was registered in FAS as BAKKANES. The owner, Bakkafrost Farming, has purchased the vessel to serve as a salmon farming vessel alongside sister vessel MARTIN in its operations in Scotland.
Bakkanes is 241 feet long, 54 feet wide and 2466 GT.
