For the second day in a row, a Faroese newbuild has been registered in the Faroese International Ship Register (FAS).
Yesterday, it was Smyril Line’s Akranes, and today, Hav Fles, a cargo vessel owned by Navigare Shipping in Søldarfjørður, was registered. Hav Fles is a sister vessel to Hav Leiti, which was registered in FAS this summer, and is the second of four newbuilds currently being built for Navigare Shipping.
The Faroese shipping industry is experiencing an exciting period of development, with new vessels, significant investments and a high level of activity.
