In the recently published Paris MoU Flag State Performance List for 2020, the Faroe Islands keep their ranking as No. 31 on the list. To our delight, we can ascertain that our Excess Factor has improved from -0,57 to -0,87. Also, the number of detentions has decreased from seven during 2017-2019 to five during 2018-2020.
Last year, only one FAS-vessel was detained. So far this year, there have been no detentions at all. We hope and work towards continuing on this path to hopefully gain an even better position on next year’s list.
